Dr. Michael Darais was born in Provo, Utah spending most of his time outdoors, hiking, biking or fishing up Provo Canyon. During high school, Dr. Darais was awarded multiple times in art contests where he excelled in architectural designs and renderings, pottery and woodworking, which would later spark his interest in dentistry.

After high school, Dr. Darais served a two-year church service mission to Recife, Brazil. Upon return from his service, he graduated from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah with a degree in Biology where he met his wife Elise who had moved to Utah from Toronto, Ontario Canada to attend school. They were married two years later and Dr. Darais then achieved his dream of attending University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. Since dental school, Dr. Darais has taken several continuing education courses to strengthen his dental technique as well as staying up to date with the latest dental procedures.

Dr. Darais is passionate about dentistry and is very detail-oriented, caring and loves his patients. He enjoys a profession that allows him to grow and constantly improve in patient care. Dr. Darais prides himself in knowing that our office provides only the best treatment to all of our patients, and is constantly seeking ways in which to improve our office and our care for our patients.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Darais enjoys mountain biking, camping, skiing, dirt biking, spending time with his family and working on building his custom motorcycle. Dr. Darais looks forward to meeting you and hopes to serve you and your family with all of your dental care needs.

Dr Tyler Madsen grew up in Alpine, Utah as the youngest of 8 kids, where he loved snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, playing piano, guitar, drums, and goofing off with friends. In high school, he took an EMS class which is where he learned he had a passion for the medical field and helping people.

After high school, he spent two years overseas helping the people in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine where he served a church mission. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University, where he met his beautiful wife Bethany.

They then both moved to San Francisco so that Dr. Madsen could attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. After graduation, they have lived in Oregon, Texas, and now the great state of Colorado with their daughter Ashlyn and two dogs. Dr. Madsen loves to learn, and has taken continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest research and procedures. He is passionate about implant dentistry and has also honed his skills with local anesthesia to give you the most painless injection you’ve ever had!

Dr. Madsen loves to serve people. He has gone to Jamaica to provide free dental care to those who can’t afford it, and he has spent four months in China with his wife teaching English for free.

Dr. Madsen is very excited to help and serve the people of Colorado.

Dawn has been in the administrative field for 21 years. Dawn is a native to Canon City, enjoys all things outdoors and being in God’s county. She loves to watch her children play sports, running, fly fishing, and being with her husband and their three children. Dawn also loves her three dogs; Bullett, Arrow, and Moose.

Brit was born and raised in Colorado, and has no plans to ever leave! Brit has been a dental assistant for 14 years and counting. Brit is currently in school to further her dental knowledge as a dental hygienist. Brit is outgoing and has often been told her laughter is contagious. Brit enjoys helping people of all ages with a special love for kids. Brit is very family oriented and spends as much time with her loved ones as possible.

Jude moved to Colorado 5 years ago (2018) from Iowa. Jude is married with 3 grown children. Jude’s husband works for Union Pacific RR. They have 3 dogs; 2 german shepherds and 1 little yorkie. They love to ride their Indian Motorcycles, go jeeping, and explore the beautiful surroundings here in Colorado. Jude has been a dental hygienist for 43 years and strives to help her patients have a positive experience.

Ashley has loved organization and paperwork since she was 17. Her family moved to Colorado 11 years ago and transplanted well. Ashley and her husband have 3 teenage boys and have a small ranch in Guffey. The family enjoys hiking and family time in the small town.

Desiree is from Buena Vista Colorado. She moved to Canon City after she graduated high school in 2022. Desiree got engaged on August 5th. She loves hiking, camping, and spending time with her fiance and 6 year old daughter. Desiree is a Certified E.D.D.A.

Kimberly moved to Colorado in 2010 from New Mexico. Kimberly has been in the dental field since 1989. Kimberly is OMAPP certified with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is also an E.D.D.A. Kimbelry is married with two son’s and three step son’s along with five grandchildren combined. Kimberly enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing, snowmobiling and driving around on her UTV. Kimbeky thrives on all patients having a gentle and positive experience in the dental office.

Moose is a 1 year old AKC registered yellow lab. He loves to come to work and greets all who enter. He loves squeaky toys, belly rubs, doing tricks, and treats.
